"Yesterday's" picture was actually taken on this day, Friday. This was our only full day in Oregon. I forgot to take a picture yesterday :(

Yesterday Brandi and I made the 9 hour trip to Coos Bay, Oregon to visit her Mom and little sister. Brandi surprised her sister. She had no idea we were coming! It was so cute!

Today we spent the day exploring Oregon. We visited Brandi's grandma's beautiful home in Coos Bay, we went to the beach, and just spent the day hanging out with her family. It was a great day!

This might not seem like much of a plant, but it has had quite a life. I bought this "palm tree" plant about 3 years ago. I had it for about 3 months and it died, just like every other plant I've ever had. I took the planter outside and forgot about it. It's been nothing but dirt for the past 2 years.

I was doing some Spring cleaning yesterday and figured I would finally clean out the planter to see if I could plant something else. Then I saw this! The sun and the rain must have given it new life! It's pretty ugly now, but I'm going to take care of it and see if anything come of it!

We found the bridesmaid dresses! This is my Maid of Honor in her dress. I think I am going to have them wear a red sash to go with our color scheme. Pretty happy with this dress choice :)

Day 72 of 366

This picture obviously wasn't taken today. But I thought it would be appropriate because today is my Grandma's birthday. This has been my favorite picture of the two of us for as long as I can remember. I don't know why I like it so much. Maybe because it's so candid.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about her. She was such a treasure in all of our lives, her absence will never stop hurting. But I have come to peace with her absence. I still talk to her and in some ways I feel closer to her now. I know she is ALWAYS with me. So she reminds me to be good :)

Abuelita, I miss you so much. When I cry for you, it's not because I'm sad, but because I am happy for you. You are with the Lord and I know we will meet again. You are my angel. Have a wonderful birthday in heaven. I'll see you again one day!

You know it's midterm time when you are up until 2 AM doing homework! I wish I had more time to take more original photos. I also wish I had more time to watch some of our hundreds of movies!

So I cheated just a little bit! I did not take this picture, Brandi did. For those of you that don't know, we had a HUGE change of plans regarding our wedding. We are getting married on a boat in the San Francisco Bay. Although this is exactly what we wanted, we unfortunately aren't going to be able to invite everyone we had hoped to invite :(

So today Brandi, my mom, my future mother and law, and I went to visit the yacht we will be getting married on. It was a really fun day!
